We have been making fine jewelry for 21 years. For most of that time it went out under other people's names — as contract work for brands whose customers never knew who set the stones. NVWAMOI is the first time we have put our own name on the box.

How the Brand Started

We began with a simple annoyance: fine jewelry is usually priced for the safe, not for wearing. A ring that stays in its box because you are afraid to scratch it is not doing its job. So we set out to make pieces you can put on in the morning and keep on through the sink, the gym and the beach.

Two numbers, stated plainly. 21 years is how long we have been making jewelry — the workshop, the tooling and the people who set your stone. two years is how long the name NVWAMOI has been on our own boxes. We would rather give you both than rent you a heritage.

What We Do Differently

Most of what you pay for in a traditional jewelry store goes to mining, to shipping rough stones between three or four countries, and to wholesale margins stacked on top of each other. We skip all three. Our stones are grown in a lab, our settings are cast and finished in our own workshop, and the finished piece ships to you directly. That is the whole reason we can price a solid metal ring where other brands price a plated one.

What We Won't Do

Sell plated metal as solid gold. Whatever the listing says the metal is, that is what the piece is made of.
Describe moissanite as though it were simply a cheaper diamond. It is a different stone with its own numbers, and we describe it that way.
Put health or luck claims into product copy. A stone is a beautiful object. It is not medicine.
Invent a founding year, a heritage, or a celebrity we never worked with. The numbers above are the real ones, and they are all we have.

How a Piece Gets Made

Design and stone selection — the stone is chosen against the setting, not after it.
Casting the metal into the rough form.
Filing and shaping the band until it sits flat and wears smooth.
Setting the stone, then checking every prong under a loupe.
Polishing the whole piece.
Final inspection — the setting is checked a second time, because polishing can work a prong loose.

Nothing leaves the bench until both checks pass.

What You Pay For

No donation line, no charity markup and no percentage-of-profit pledge on your invoice. What you pay covers the metal, the stone, the hours on the bench and the box it arrives in. We would rather put that money into the piece itself — and say so, rather than attach a good cause to a price tag.
